Edwardian Mantel with Oval Mirror

An imposing Edwardian mahogany mantel removed from a house in Withington, Manchester.

The mantel features tall banded pillasters rising full length from the block feet to a moulded top shelf.

The original oval shaped, bevelled mirror sits above a 6 inch deep central shelf supported by two elegant brackets.

The finish has the rich patina of turn of the 20th century mahogany.
