1920s Oak Chimney Piece

A fine oak mantel with a generously bowed
and vertically veneered frieze that steps back
to the legs. It has a caddy style flush mantel
which is faced with a greek key decorated
border along the top. The bottom of the frieze
is finished with a border of petals and there is
fine moulding around the fireplace opening
which finished with the block feet
