Arts and Crafts Mantel

An arts and crafts mahogany mantel with long, slightly tapered, fluted square columns. The ends of the tapering columns finish on moulded platforms above the elongated foot blocks.

Between these columns a gently curving undershelf bracket supports the finely moulded top mantel shelf. A broad curved undershelf has two central shaped supports. The mantel would suit a "canopy on legs" or a tiled arch fireplace insert.
