Edwardian Fireplace Mantel

An Edwardian Mahogany Fireplace Mantel
from the turn of the century. It is rich in colour
and has ornate shelf and brackets supported
by two turned spindles. The open faced corbels
on either side taper to half moon shaped ledges
on smaller brackets. Towards the bottom of each
leg there is fine fluting running onto chamfered
block feet. It would suit a cast iron tiled insert or
a canopy on legs with tile panels
