Victorian Sandstone Fireplace Mantel

A mid Victorian sandstone Fireplace Mantel c1870
featuring a magnificent serpentine Fireplace Mantel
shelf. The arched legs have nicely fluted
triangular panels and are supported by a
chamfered keystone. The Fireplace Mantel is shown
with an ornate original Fireplace insert but it
would work well with a plainer Fireplace insert.
A black hearth in slate would also complement it.
