Edwardian Fireplace Mantel
A tall mahogany Fireplace Mantel from 1908 with chunky fluted
columns
and Corinthian capitals
with
boxwood stringing
bordering the large oval
mirror. The full length
columns
terminate in
a socle which stands on
tall moulded foot blocks. The lower shelf
is
supported ny triple brackets and the main
Fireplace Mantelpiece has gadrooned decorations
beneath it.
This manelpiece came from Whalley Range in
Manchester with a canopy
on legs f377and tile panels f359.
