Art Deco Mahogany Fireplace Mantel

An Art Deco Fireplace Mantel with a working
original Smiths electric clock.

The clock has a burred walnut fascia
with bevelled glass and an unusual
seconds indicator. It is surrounded
by a flame mahogany panel which is
contained within rosewood banding.

The projecting frieze is in flame
mahogany with ebonised mahogany
underneath.

The legs have ebonised mahogany
to the outer edge and end in block feet.
The opening is stepped.
