1933 Art Deco Mahogany Fireplace Mantel

A magnificent Art Deco Fireplace Mantel in Mahogany made in Manchester on the 16th May 1933 by cabinet maker Mr Wilkes. It has ebony stringing to the outside edge mirrored by bullnose moulding. The main panel is bookmatched flame veneer. It has a prominent chamfered shelf supported by three blocks and a chamfered opening.
