Laying our Loose Fireplace Tiles |
Hearths Tiles |
|
Our Fireplace tiles can be laid using almost any propriety cement-based floor tile adhesive. They can be laid using spacers or just butted up to each other in a more traditional way for fireplaces. We advise wetting the backs of the tiles in a watered-down mixture of PVA glue, (say 4 parts water to 1 part PVA) immediately prior to laying, as the tiles are very porous in their dry state. Any grout can be used, although it is advisable to check for staining on one tile first. We grout all our hearths using a simple mixture of cement (usually white cement) and water.
