This insert is also available with our special hand dipped Fireplace tiles. These Fireplace tiles are hand dipped in the glaze and fired at different angles in the kiln to recreate an authentic look. With its slip cast opening blocks to the Fireplace opening this insert is made in exactly the same way as the original Fireplaces from 1910 to 1930 and are indistinguisable from them. + £150 |

20th Century Fires reserves the right to make minor design changes to the reproduction inserts or Fireplace Mantels shown on this site. Our tiles are reproduced using similar methods to the original items and the degree of shade variation is inherent and desirable. Tiles are manufactured to bs6431 and are not guaranteed against crazing. Whilest most tiles do not normally craze, the thickness of glaze necessary to reproduce the very shiny Victorian colours may occasionally cause this to occur. It does not affect the serviceability and actually achieves a truer degree of reproduction effect. |
