The Adelphi Art Deco Fireplace

An asymmetric Art Deco All Tiled Fireplace taken from an original 1920s design. It is suitable for 1920s / 1930s semis with low ceilings It has a small central shelf with finger detail underneath and stepped hand glazed opening blocks. The main Fireplace has a protruding block on one side. The hearth also features a protruding hob on the opposite side and has an integral fender.

To burn solid fuel a stool grate is also required. Living Flame Gas Fires are also available to suit these Fireplaces.

Our tiles are reproduced using similar methods to the original items and the degree of shade variation is inherent and desirable. Tiles are manufactured to bs6431 and are not guaranteed against crazing. Whilest most tiles do not normally craze, the thickness of glaze necessary to reproduce the very shiny Victorian colours may occasionally cause this to occur. It does not affect the serviceability and actually achieves a truer degree of reproduction effect.
