1930s Brick Effect Fireplace
A large and impressive tiled, brick effect, fireplacefrom the late 1930's.
The fire opening is deeply recessed under a flattened arch and flanked by large patterned hobs leaving a small hearth between them which protrudes forward by the thickness of the raised kerb.
The whole arrangement of steps and recesses gives an added sense of perspective to the focal point of the fireplace opening.
