1930s All Tiled Fireplace
A 1930's all tiled fireplace in beige and straw
coloured mottled tiles contrasting with feature tiles in a rich
Midnight Blue background colour mottled with greens and
orange browns.
The stepped
opening blocks and
cheeks are also in the darker blue colour as is the
recessed section of the hearth behing a 4 inch wide raised
kerb.
The fireplace is of the single dropped shoulder design with a central
lowered shelf and faience support in the darker tiles. The fireplace opening
is recessed under an arch formed of curved stepped blocks that start from
small hobs.
