1930s Complete Tiled Fireplace

Brown and beige mottled tiled fireplace made in 1938.

It has concave legs with skyscaper finger details in half inch cross-bonded sticks and ribbed opening tiles. It also has a large recess in the stepped frieze with diamond tile detailing and
a contrasting row of tiles through the center..

The original heath is missing but one can be made to suit.

Although the top 4 previously damaged REX tiles have been replaced with Dark Mocha and there are a number of slightly cracked tiles this is an interesting and unusual fireplace.

Stepped All Tiled Fireplace

All tiled fireplace in blue and grey mottled tile with stepped shoulders.
It has a patterned tile in the centre over the slightly recessed fireplace opening.
Comes with it's original tiles hearth with shallow built in fender.

1930s Art Deco All Tiled Fireplace

A 1930s Art Deco all tiled fireplace and kerbed hearth in 2 contrasting shades of mottled brown tiles.

The fireplace has stepped shoulders with inset ribbed mouldings and lowered central shelf made from a three stepped moulded block.

The fire opening is framed by three stepped opening blocks and finished by the bottom row of tiles in the darker mottle. The pattern is repeated in the hearth with the raised edging tiles in the darker shade.

1920s Art Deco Ceramic Fireplace

An imposing faience block tiled fireplace from the late 1920s.

The opening blocks feature a triple curved step back echoed in the moulded kerbs of the hearth.

The wide header is emphasised by a darker horizontal band beneath it and at the base of the legs.

A 1930s Art Deco tiled insert and kerbed hearth

The fire opening is framed with ribbed blocks and Tudor roses at the corners and decorative finger tiles above and at the bottom of the openings

. The raised kerbing on the hearth is also glazed in a darker mottled tile to match the openings, the remainder is in a lighter beige/brown mottled glaze.

Double Stepped 1930s All Tiled Fireplace

An interestingly modelled all tiled fireplace dating from the 1930's in two contrasting beige/brown mottled glazes.

The hearth has a raised edge all round in the lighter cloured mottle with the recessed flat in the darker shades. The fire opening is also recessed and framed with ribbed blocks in the darker colour.

The double stepped shoulders are progressively stepped back by the thickness of a tile as is the central frieze section with its zigguratmotif in the lighter mottle.

Price includes a pewter lustre fret.

1930s Art Deco Bedroom Fireplace

A double shouldered all tiled fireplace and hearth in a yellow/beige tile with contrasting edges and inverted pyramid motif in a pale green mottle.

The middle step of the shoulders is set back by the thickness of a tile and the central block steps forward again to be flush with the front of the fireplace.

A late 1920's Art Deco Cast Iron Fireplace and hearth still with its original enamelling in a mottled beige/brown and decorated with coral / brown features..

The fireplace has stepped legs and a raised central shelf section above the recessed fire opening. The ribbed opening, a pelmet above it and to horizontally ribbed bands at the top are picked out in the coral colour. The cast iron hearth has a raised edge all round.

1950s All Tiled Fireplace

A tiled fireplace in mushroom/beige mottle with copper lustre strips. The arch above the fireplace opening is made from ribbed, fan shaped, faience blocks revealing the Art Deco roots of this 1950s fireplace design.

The whole fireplace and hearth is framed with a raised edging of 6 inch x 3 inch tiles sloping at the edges of the hearth to match the angled opening blocks. The decoration is finished off with delicate lines of the copper lustre glazed tiles.

Art Deco Fireplace

An imposing Art Deco fireplace
c1925. The main body is made from
three large glazed faience slip-cast
blocks with a brown glaze. It has
ribbing running around to the recessed
fireplace opening and a stunning art
deco motif in the panel above. It
comes complete with its original
matching eight piece hearth. The
fireplace is suitable for solid fuel,
but could have a gas fire fitted.

1930s Marble Fireplace

An Art Deco Marble Fireplace with
green Connemara marble framing a
delicious Arabascato facia and hearth.
It is an angular art deco drop shoulder
fireplace design with a chamfered
hearth complementing it.

The Connemara marble is heavily
grained, more mottled than striated
and the Arabescato of the ivory
background has deep purple veining.
There is slight discolouring especially
towards the back of the hearth but in
general the condition is very good.

Art Deco Marble Fireplace

An rare Art Deco Fireplace c 1933 removed from a
large 1930s detached house in Styal, South Manchester.
It is an imposing Fireplace made of an unusual golden
veined form of marble with a crystalline texture with
belgian black marble fingers .

It has trims and 3 piece mantle sections.
The small hearth incorporates a heat plate in the
back of the central panel. 3 black slips bring the opening
in to a trim of your choice (chrome, brushed steel etc.)

Late 1930s Art Deco Marble Fireplace

A late 1930s Fireplace removed from a mansion in Silverdale, Lancashire.

The ultimate Art Deco Fireplace comprising rich veined Canamma
Green Marble embellished with cream coloured Onyx blocks. The mantlepiece drops into the corners and the hearth steps upwars in three sections with a heat plate set into the middle section.

The opening is 29 inches x27inches but has black basalt slips (original)
that reduces the opening to 16 or 18 inches x 22 inches high, to take a
solid fuel grate or a Decorative Effect Gas Fire.
